No monthly fee, just 5% when a ticket sells
No monthly fee, no setup fee, no minimum term. When a ticket sells, the marketplace keeps its commission and SyncSeats takes 5% of what remains, and nothing at all until then.

Before the payment provider’s transfer fee, which you see before every payout request. The commission is the one a marketplace carries in the listing flow today; the rate shown in your account at the moment of sale applies.

The SyncSeats fee comes off after the marketplace commission
The marketplace’s commission comes off first. SyncSeats charges its 5% only on what is left, so you never pay a fee on someone else’s fee.
- Sale price
- €100.00
- Marketplace commission (5%)
- − €5.00
- Remainder

As a private person in the EU you also pay 19% VAT on the SyncSeats fee (€0.90 here), so the fee is 5.95% including VAT and €89.35 remains. Businesses with an EU VAT ID outside Germany pay no VAT to us under the reverse charge procedure; German businesses entitled to deduct input tax can reclaim it.
Locked at the moment of sale
The rate shown in your account when a ticket sells is the rate that applies to that sale. Later changes never reach back.
An invoice for every fee
Each SyncSeats fee comes with a VAT-compliant invoice, including the reverse charge note for EU businesses.

You pay nothing until a ticket sells
Nothing has sold yet
Signing up, listing and keeping tickets live on every marketplace costs nothing, for as long as you like.
The event is cancelled
If a sale is cancelled through no fault of yours, for example because the event is called off, there is no fee and no other cost.
You joined through a partner offer
Partners can give the sellers they bring in 7 days without the service fee. Time-limited 0% offers apply when your account shows them.
And if a delivery fails?
Then there is no service fee either, and nothing is paid out. If the failure is yours, you cover the costs it actually caused, above all equivalent replacement tickets for the buyer and the marketplace’s penalties. The terms set this out in section 9.
What a payout costs
A sale becomes payable once its delivery is confirmed, the marketplace has settled it and the event has taken place; trusted sellers are paid on delivery. You request a payout from €100. How payouts work
- Minimum payout
- €100 after deductions
- Currencies
- EUR by SEPA, GBP or USD to local accounts, USD by SWIFT
- Transfer fee
- The payment provider’s fee including currency conversion, shown before you request
- Deducted from it
- VAT on the service fee and any amounts due under section 9 of the terms
Questions about pricing
Is there really no monthly fee?
Yes. There is no subscription, no setup fee and no minimum term. SyncSeats only earns its 5% when a ticket has sold and been delivered.
Why 5% of the remainder and not of the sale price?
Because the marketplace’s commission is not your income. We take ours from what you actually keep after the marketplace, which makes the SyncSeats fee 4.75% of the sale price when the marketplace takes 5%.
Do I pay VAT on the fee?
Private persons in the EU and businesses in Germany pay 19% German VAT on the SyncSeats fee; German businesses entitled to deduct input tax can reclaim it. Businesses in another EU country with a valid VAT ID are invoiced under the reverse charge procedure, and outside the EU no VAT is charged.
What does a payout cost?
The fee our payment provider charges for the transfer, including any currency conversion. It depends on the currency and the account type, and you see it, with any VAT that applies, before every payout request.
Are there lower rates for high volume?
Different rates apply when they are shown in your account or agreed in writing. If you sell in volume, write to contact@syncseats.com.
Can the fee change for tickets I have already sold?
No. The rate in your account at the moment of the sale is locked in with that sale.
